Otocac is situated in the middle of the Lika and Senj county, between the National Park of „Plitvice Lakes“, the National Park „North Velebit“ and the Natural Park „Velebit“.

Our location – direction: Senj – Zuta Lokva – Otocac, or Gospic – Perusic – Licko Lesce – Otocac or from the direction of Zagreb by the old road: Plitvice – Borje – Vrhovine – Otocac.

The river Gacka completes the tourist attraction of the Otocac. It is one of three rivers best known in the world for it's trouts. So not without the reason it is called the homeland of big trouts.

The place Kuterevo which provides protection for Velebit's young bears, is also situated immediately close by (15 km), the sanctuary of Our Lady in Krasno is only 20 km in distance, the well known mills are situated on the source of the river Gacka (8 km), the town Senj and the Adriatic coast 40 km. We are situated only 5 km from the exit of the highway A1. For the passionate lovers of the sports aircrafts there is a sports airport close by (3 km).
